Financial Controller - Boutique Investment Manager

My client is a boutique Investment Management firm looking for a recently qualified accountant to take control of its finance function.

The prime focus of the role will be to oversee the day to day running of the finance function which includes responsibility for

• Reporting for funds and their investee companies.
• Preparation of management and annual accounts, business analysis and management information and the development,maintenance and monitoring of management information systems and procedures.
• Developing finance policies and procedures and ensure that these are being consistently followed - including customer and supplier contracts, purchase orders, credit control, and ensuring timely invoicing.
• Ensuring that the management accounts accurately reflect the business activity, that accruals and other adjustments are being made correctly and variances from budget and other issues are investigated and resolved.
