Accountant - Insurance

Temporary | £350 - £450 per day | London (All) | England | 23.02.18

A leading Insurer is looking for an accountant to join its growing Finance team in what will be a very varied role encompassing elements of Financial and Management accounting and will provide exposure to the wider business.

The role will involve

• Preparation and timely delivery of monthly accounts.
• Assist the MI team with cost analysis, budgeting, forcasting, calculations and quarterly cost reviews.
• Responding to queries on the investment fund financial statements.
• Monthly maintenance of fixed asset registers.
• Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of general ledger entries including financial analysis

Candidates need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, good basic accounting knowledge and be able to take on ad-hoc projects.
